The classes are for beginners and Improvers. You do not need a partner but please wear comfortable shoes and come with the knowledge that you will not only have fun but will be learning with an experienced team of teachers and assistants. The price of £12 includes a buffet and the chance to get nimble footed!
The classes are held at;
Freston Hall. (Welsh Church) Freston Gardens, Cockfosters, Enfield EN4 1HR. There is ample parking in and around the church.
There are 5 teaching staff, including 2 highly experienced British competition winners - headed by Denise, a professional IDTA teacher who has been teaching dance and exercise for many years.
For beginners, the first thought is that they cannot dance & get very concerned at the levels of other people. Please do not worry about your lack of dancing ability. Everyone is different & our pace is very gentle although you will get great exercise whilst learning. You will learn the basics of several Latin & Ballroom dances which will give you a taste of what partner dancing is all about.
Wear clothes you feel comfortable in and most important - comfortable shoes in which you can swivel. Trainers, sandals and rubber soled shoes are not suitable to wear for dancing. The Ballroom dances we cover are Waltz, Social Foxtrot & Foxtrot, Quickstep and Tango. The Latin Dances are Samba, Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba and Jive. Phone Bookings: 0208 372 6608.
Dance Class. Instruction (Novice, Beginner and Improver), Practice (Novice, Beginner and Improver) and Social for Mixed Social, Waltz, Cha-Cha, Foxtrot, Rumba, Tango (Ballroom), Quickstep, Latin American, Jive (Ballroom), Salsa and Ballroom Dancers. The Creative Crew run weekly ZUMBA Fitness & Line Dance classes in North London. We run regular Ballroom & Latin Dance courses & Workshops. We have had great experience in running parties & events, offering a mix of Arts/crafts, dance or disco -for both kids & adults.
Denise the manager is an experienced, professional IDTA Dance Teacher,a trained YMCA trained Aerobics Teacher, a top Salsa Teacher & Latin DJ.
