THE SWING JOINT!!!!
Held on the first Friday of each month starting on 4th Dec,09 then 8th Jan,2010 and each first Friday in the month thereafter.( Please note that March's Swing Joint is postponed til March 12th as We are performimg for Vera Lynn on the 5th ). The Swing Joint can be found on the first floor of the Royal British Legion in 15 Town End,Caterham,Surrey, CR3 5UJ. It has a huge wooden floor for you to get jumpin' in the Joint and a bar to quench the raging thirst your going to work up!
Mark will hold an improver's class from 7.45 - 8.30pm and the evening is yours til 11.30.
Meet your friends, relax, learn some new moves, have a drink and dance.
What better way to kick off the weekend!

To celebrate Elvis Presley's birthday on January 8th, the finest Elvis impersonator in the Land, Mr. Lee Jackson will be performing for us at The Swing Joint which happens to be held on the 8th,luckily!( its like we planned it! ).
Lee looks like Elvis,sounds like Elvis and moves like Elvis!
He's got the hair, the clothes, the guitars and smouldering eyes of the young Elvis. Lee pays meticulous attention to detail even using the same hair products as Elvis!
His performance is high energy,high octane and thrilling. DONT MISS IT!

1940's-50's Jitterbug, East Coast Swing, Jive and Stroller classes held weekly. 10 week Beginner's courses run on a 'rolling basis' taught by teachers with over 20 years experience between them, followed by improver classes.
Regular workshops held in Balboa,Shag and some ballroom to help ease our dancers into the 1940's dance scene.
Our fun classes are light-hearted with lots of laughter and patience!
