Tango RioDance the authentic Argentine Tango! Tango Rio is dedicated to promoting Argentine Tango as a social dance and art form. You'll find us in Atlanta, teaching, performing and hosting special events. For some of our past activities, see our r resume. The Tango was born along the shores of the Rio de la Plata in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Montevideo, Uruguay. While known as "Argentine Tango", the Tango originated along the River Plata or "Rioplatense". Thus, our name - Tango Rio.
