The 8th International Feet Beat Tap Festival: A melting pot of tap dancers and musicians, the Feet Beat Festival offers you a week full of tap, classes closely linked to tap and a whole lot more excitement.
- New This Year: An evening Lecture/Demonstration: "Tap Origins" Tuesday August 3 at 20:00.

The Festival at a glance:
Intensive courses and workshops
Place: Helsingin Tanssiopisto, Kasarmikatu 19 and at the Alexander Theater, Bulevardi 23-27. Note: You can participate either in 3 day-courses, 6 day courses or take single classes.

- Saturday August 7: Beat City: Tap Masters Concert - Gloria Theater, Pieni Roobertinkatu 12.
- Saturday August 7: Party Dinner - Jagellonica, Uudenmaankatu 16-20.
- Sunday August 8: Informal Show - (venue will be announced later).
Helsinki City
In August Helsinki, Finland's capital on the Baltic Sea, still enjoys mellow temperatures (22°C/ 72°F) and sunlight practically around the clock. Classes will be held within a very short walking distance to the market square, and the shopping district as well as Helsinki harbour where ferries leave for Stockholm, Tallinn and nearby islands.
