To book or for further details: Info, Tel: 07787 531 308. 4.30 to 5pm Beginner's/Grade One Modern - Modern Theatre dance is a rhythmic dance style which originated in America before travelling to the rest of the world. It is often seen on the stages of musical productions and is known for its theatrical qualities. The style uses travelling steps, kicks, leaps and turns. This is a highly energetic dance style great for children. 5pm to 5.30pm Beginner's/Grade One Tap - In beginner's Tap the children use their feet to strike the floor, beating out different rhythms, wearing tap shoes which have small metal plates on the toe and heel to give the distinctive sound. In this class they learn the basic steps of Tap followed by simple dance routines. 5.30pm to 6pm Grade Three Modern 6pm to 7pm Adult Ballet | |||

Children's Dance ClassesBallet Instruction at Beginner level. Contact organiser for times and further details. To book or for further details: Info, Tel: 07787 531 308. NEW TERM starts 9th May 2011 Children's Dance Classes available on Monday's. 4 pm to 4.40pm - under 5's Ballet, is a fun class. The children, using their imagination, dance using a variety of themes depending on the season. We also put our dollies or teddy bear's to bed at the end of the lesson. 4.45pm to 5.30pm - Primary Ballet is a more structured class, following the ISTD syllabus, also with some free work to encourage imagination and confidence. 5.30pm to 6.15pm - Grade One Ballet follows the ISTD syllabus, developing their understanding of Ballet. They are also encouraged to choreograph their own dances to show at the end of term. A School Show is produced every other year which every child is encouraged to join in. |
