We are thrilled to announce that top professional choreographer James Robinson is coming to teach a special street dance class in Witney, at
West Oxfordshire Academy of Performing Arts
James, from ‘Purestar Productions’ is preparing to demonstrate the very latest dance ideas and trends with his exciting dance workshops at WOAPA.
James has danced for artists such as:
Jessie J, Leona Lewis, Peter Andre, Pixie Lott, The Saturdays, The Wanted, Pussycat Dolls, Atomic Kitten, John Barrowman, The Spice Girls, Duffy, Annie Lennox, Cliff Richard, Anastasia, Alesha Dixon, Tom Jones & Danni Minogue,
And on television programmes such as:
X-Factor, So You Think You Can Dance? Red & Black, Pop idol (Russia) & Stars in their eyes.
James has worked on choreography for events such as
The Queens Jubilee Concert, ‘The Voice’, ‘So You Think You Can Dance’, & various Pantomimes
James comes highly recommended by Tim Noble, choreographer to Kylie Minogue, whose workshops formed part of the launch in 2012 of ‘WOAPA’ – West Oxfordshire Academy of Performing Arts’ theatre school for children in Witney.

The workshops, throughout the day, will take students through various dance styles including musical theatre and commercial / street dance. Drawing from his wealth of experience in performance and choreography, James will offer the children a rare insight into the life of a professional dancer. At the end of each workshop all the children will take part in a short presentation for families and friends, and each child will receive a ‘Purestar’ certificate and a photo opportunity with James.
All current students at WOAPA [Acts 1, 2 & 3] automatically have a placed reserved at the workshop as part of their on-going usual tuition at WOAPA.
We are also able to offer a limited amount of spaces to children who are not regular WOAPA students.

Providing quality tuition in the three disciplines of Singing, Dance and Drama, our class sizes are deliberately kept small to ensure that each child receives the individual attention they deserve.
