roadkill

Contemporary Show, Dancing. Contact organiser for further details. Licensed Bar. To book or for further details: Book, Tel: 0845 120 7511. A couple are stranded in the Australian outback, with a car that won't start, next to a phone box that doesn't work, and their water is running out. They only have each other. Then someone quite unwelcome arrives... This stunning, unsettling piece of dance theatre is a manic ride down the highway of misconceptions about the heart of Australia. Using unorthodox, amazingly irregular movement and intense drama, roadkill is part road movie, part excavation into the urban legends and paranoia that surround the outback – a place where backpackers disappear and the ghosts of original land owners and lost explorers still haunt the bush.
