The Costa Blanca is renowned for its year round sunshine and expansive sandy beaches. Moreover Calpe, where this unique holiday is based, is an attractive unspoilt resort, benefiting both from building controls and the fact that it houses two protected nature reserves. The resort area of the town is totally flat and features two beautiful beaches, a delightful promenade and many bars and restaurants. The old town sits on a hilltop just behind the resort and comprises a fascinating little warren of historic alleyways and squares, several of which have been recently restored. The hotel at which the holiday is based is located close to the sea in the resort area and is the highly impressive, recently constructed flagship of the town_s leading hotel chain. The holiday is hosted by international award-winning line dance choreographers and instructors Alison Biggs & Peter Metelnick and also features 2 evenings of live music performed by popular country artist Paul Bailey.
