Our weekly Saturday Theatre schools run from 10am – 1pm and consist of four 40 minute lessons in Street Dance, Drama, Pop Singing and Musical Theatre. Students are divided into four different age groups: Primary's 5-6 years, Juniors 7-8 years, Inters 9-11 years & Seniors 12 upwards. There is one fully supervised break during the morning lasting 15 minutes. Students are not permitted to leave the premises during this time & must provide their own refreshments. The school year is divided into three terms running concurrently with the normal academic year, however, we DO NOT break for half term. We offer the first session FREE OF CHARGE and after which the Saturday session costs £14.00 (£10 for siblings) per week. Fees can be paid WEEKLY or TERMLY with a 10% discount given to students paying termly. At Rascals we work towards regular performances, at least two a year. This gives our students a goal to aim for and encourages them to attend class each week. One will be an informal occasion with friends and family invited to attend free of charge. The other performance will be on a larger scale. Our own original production held at a local professional theatre with all the excitement that costumes, props and lights bring! As well as our own productions, we are regularly invited by other companies and organisations to perform at special events such as summer fetes and dance gala's. Since opening in 1997 our students have performed in numerous shows at 'Her Majesty's' theatre in London's West End, 'Sadlers Wells' theatre, the prestigious 'Royal Albert Hall' and on the 'Fantasyland stage' right in the heart of Disneyland Paris! Every student is given the opportunity to take part in these events should they wish.
