Certain elements from each of these styles have been merged and westernised incorporating aspects of Contemporary and hip-hop. The result is extremely dynamic, vivid and a lot of fun. These elements include, intricate hand gestures, fluid arms, funky footwork and agile body shapes. The movement content reflects the subject or atmosphere evoked in the music. In the slower routines, the body is used to form dynamic shapes that compliment and stretch the body and give a sense of balance and harmony that is also pleasing to the eye. The faster routines are energetic and upbeat and really help with co-ordination as well as getting a good workout!
